Our Ethos

Not only can they be physically uncomfortable and emotionally distressing, they can have serious medical consequences. Our Founder
An early pioneer of the sexual wellness movement in Australia, Monica Nakata has spent years working to better the lives of women through publishing and retail. Deeply passionate about intimate health and wellbeing, Monica distils her strong personal interest and industry experience into Gentil.
Fascinated by the science behind wellness and motivated by her own immunocompromised health, Monica’s commitment to improve women’s wellbeing is unwavering. With a vision to provide accessible, high quality and effective solutions for all women, she is dedicated to redefining the intimate wellness industry.
